Memory World Records - Pi (π) Recall
Human interface Bit Rate - versus Duration of Recall
How do the world's top Mental athletes perform when
they remember Pi to 60,000 decimal places!!?

All points are for the slow
learning and timed fast recall of successive digits of
π, with no errors
(3.142..............). Note that the record of just under 10 Bits per
second corresponds to 3 digits per second, surely near the limit of
language. Record Holders Details pdf
Note: The subjects were attempting to maximise the
number of recalled digits, not the digits per second.
