Here are a few words I have written for Cristina & Duncan on this their special day, entitled:                                              "IF"

If I could have chosen a wife for you Duncan, it would have been Cristina.

She is Vivacious, caring, talented and beautiful.

I see you both supporting each other, and knowing how to enjoy life together.

Duncan: You come from a family that care for you deeply.  You are now part of Cristina’s family, who have welcomed you and shown that they care for you.  I thank them for that.  Gracias!

Your father only knew you as a young boy, but I know that like me, he would be very proud of the man that you have become, and happy for you, on this your wedding day.

If I could give you both some advice, it would be to always communicate with each other.  There is nothing in life that cannot be resolved if you both talk about it.

If times get difficult, remember what first attracted you to each other, because those gifts will always be there.

Remember to laugh at life and have fun together, just as you do now.

Kahlil Gibran wrote: “Let there be spaces in your togetherness”.  Very wise I think, especially wise during the English Cricket season! It’s a complicated game!

If I could make a wish for your future lives together, it would be that the love and friendship that you share today, will remain with you for the rest of your lives.
