1. William EPWORTH , son of Thomas EPWORTH ( -1697) and Elizabeth ATKINSON ( - ), was born from 1 January 1683 to 14 October 1683. He was christened on 14 October 1683 in Misson, Nottinghamshire, England. In 1713 he was a Labourer in Marriage cert. He married Bridget BROADHEAD on 12 November 1713 in Rotherham, South West Yorkshire, England. ¹

Bridget BROADHEAD , ¹ daughter of Nicholas BROADHEAD (1680- ) and Zephian NAYLOR ( - ), was born in Woodheads in parish of Anston, England. ² She experienced Own Ref: on 13 April 1680. On 10 September 1751 she was in Clayworth, Nottinghamshire., England. She died on 10 September 1751. ¹

2. John EPWORTH , ¹ son of William EPWORTH and Bridget BROADHEAD, was born on 31 August 1714 in Morthen, Rotherham, Yorkshire West Riding, England. He was baptised on 19 September 1714. He married 1st wife UNKNOWN in 1730. ¹ He married Ann THOMPSON on 8 May 1744 in Clayworth, Nottinghamshire., England. ¹ He married Elizabeth WHITE on 1 July 1756. ¹ He died on 31 August 1781 in Wales, Yorkshire, England. ¹ At some point he married Anne MIDWORTH .

Ann THOMPSON ¹ was born in 1705. ¹ Her Monica Ref. was 'A5'. She died on 3 March 1754 in Tickhill, Yorkshire, England. ¹ She was buried on 16 March 1754 in Tickhill. She and John EPWORTH had the following children:
