Dear QCC Member,

A number of you may have received a letter suggesting that you may wish to contribute to a legal fund to rescue/improve your pension. I feel I should point out that some pensioners receive a pension supplement direct from Nortel UK. Since Nortel UK is in Administration, their payment has ceased. This probably explains why the authors of the letter are taking direct legal action and asked to be represented at the creditors meeting later in March.

The administration of the Nortel UK Pension plan is independent of Nortel UK and the pension arrangements for those of you in the Plan are specified in a new document on the Nortel Pension Website and which will shortly be sent out by post to all Pensioners.

The Pension Plan Trustees will be attending the Creditors meeting with their legal team and will represent us there.
