STL Fifty Years in Harlow
2.00 to 6.00 p.m. on Sunday July 19^th 2009

Dear STL Friend,

I’m sure that the above logo will stir many happy memories for you but you may not have realised that this year marks the fiftieth anniversary of STL moving into Harlow.

We are therefore planning a small celebration and have booked The Maypole from 2.00 to 6.00 p.m. on Sunday 19^th. July, the nearest convenient date to that of the big move from Enfield to the new Labs in 1959.

We shall look out some photographs and memorabilia from the archives which we hope will prompt some lively discussion and give us a chance to relive some of the events of these “fifty momentous years”.

Tea and biscuits will be served by the members of the STL Pavilion Club and the Maypole Bar will also be open.

Wives, husbands, partners and friends will be welcome and we would be grateful if you would pass on the word to any other ex-colleagues who you think might be interested in coming along.

If you have any mementoes tucked away at the back of the garage that you feel might be of interest please bring them along, equally if there is anything that comes to mind which you would particularly like to see please let us know and we shall see if we can track it down.
